Stress as a Psoriasis Trigger

Stress in a broad sense is often responsible for an outbreak of psoriasis. The effects of stress are difficult to assess as stress is very personal and different levels of stress can affect people differently.

Alnogside the everyday stress of living with psoriasis, there can be other causes such as work, a personal crisis, doing exams or a serious psychological trauma. It is a significant factor which can lead to the first flare of psoriasis and on-going eruptions.
